Terms & Conditions of Business

CONDITIONS OF QUOTATION - OSMOSIS TREATMENT

1 : Storage during treatment

The cost for storage required from haulout up to when the vessel is first moved to the Yard Workshop
for treatment, and the 14 days storage for curing after coating is completed, are included in the quoted
price. Any further storage required as result of laminate defects found in the course of the treatment
processes, will subject to our standard storage charges.

2 : Inherent Laminate Defects

2.1 : One the consequences of Osmosis which applies to any Yard specialising in the treatment process,
is the fact that the true state of the below waterline hull laminate can only be properly assessed after
the Gel coat has been completely removed, using the peeling process.

2.2 : For quotation pricing purposes we assume the base laminate can be treated by our standard treatment
process, and where the vessel only requires a single visit to the Yard Workshop for the treatment to be
completed.

2.3 : Any of the following defects found after the gel peeling process which we consider to be significant, and
outside the scope of our standard process, that can be rectified without affecting compatibility with the
Epoxy process, we will advise, and forward a supplementary quotation for the additional rectification work.

- Delamination

- Dry Mat (mat devoid of resin)

- Other Manufacturing deficiencies

3 : Critical Defects

3.1 : We will not under any circumstances commit to the Epoxy coating process with the presence of the
following defects :

3.1.1 - Continuous leaching of residual substances from the laminate,
resulting from any previous Osmosis action within the laminate.

3.1.2 - High moisture levels remaining after the normal
applied heat drying process conducted in the workshop.

3.2 : In the case of the above defects, the boat will be moved from the Workshop to the Yard for storage, pending
consultation with the owner on any action to be taken to address the defect. The storage period up until the
vessel is returned to the workshop for any further treatment, will be subject to our normal storage charges.
( See items 1 and 2.2 above)

3.3 : Any action to address these defects involving an alternative process, will require the expressed approval
of the owner / agent, and / or the owner's instructed Surveyor, in accordance with a specification acceptable
to all parties.

3.4 : Other than the supply and work content necessary to meet the specification, we accept no responsibility for
the suitability of the specification for addressing the defect.

3.5 : We will submit a revised quotation for any alternative process approved by the owner. ( See item 3.3 above)

4 : Completion Dates

Due to the indeterminate factors including the state of the hull laminate at the quotation stage, ( See item 2.1 above)
and the variable drying cycle from hull to hull that occurs when the treatment is in progress, we are unable to quote
firm completion dates.

5 : Guarantees
While statutory consumer rights apply, due either to prohibitive premiums which would have to be included
in the costing of the treatment, and the present reluctance of most insurers to provide warranty cover, no other
treatment guarantee is offered or implied. Owners are of course free to seek suitable cover on a direct basis,
however, any insurers compliance criteria which is additional to the scope of our standard treatment, will be
subject to charges in addition to the quoted price.
