Terms and Conditions of Business

BOAT COLLECTION / DELIVERY BY WATER

Definitions : See General Terms & Conditions of Business

Scope :
Owners may opt to undertake the movement of their vessel's to and from
the Yard, or alternatively take advantage of our collect and return service.
We either tow vessels abeam with the Yard Work Launch or motor using the
onboard power source, this will depend on owner preference, or the towing
constraints with larger vessels when locking at Chichester Marina is required.

1 : Booking a Haulout

1.1 : Confirm with the Yard :
- An agreed haulout date with suitable tidal conditions.

- The beam and draft dimensions of the vessel.

- If the Yard's Rigid Trailer is required for haulout.

- For vessel's to be hauled-out on the Yard's Rigid Trailer, an accurate beam measurement
is required for setting trailer uprights.
Understating the beam measurement can result in an aborted haulout.

2 : COLLECTION / DELIVERY by Dell Quay Marine

2.1 : Moorings
We require :
- Location and Mooring number
- Security / Engine keys

2.2 : Chichester Marina
We require :
- Pontoon / berth number
- Security / Engine keys

- Prior to collection / delivery, owners must notify the marina office of the collection / delivery
arrangements.

2.3 : For boats where the engine may need to be used for boat movement by our staff,
Owners must confirm prior to collection, that the Engine is in an operable state.
Unless this is done, the collection may have to be aborted

2.4 : Where owners claim their boat has suffered damage, whilst in the care of our staff, we will
not take any compensatory action, unless we are informed within 7 days of the event and
it is witnessed or obvious negligence on our part or the claim has been substantiated by
an independent source acceptable to both parties.

3 : DELIVERY by Owners

3.1 : On haulout day, Contact the Yard prior to your departure and advise your
ETA offshore of the Yard, and if you intend to use your own tender for coming
ashore or if you require to be collected by our staff with the Yard Motor Launch.

3.2 : When arriving offshore of the Yard, unless agreed otherwise with the Yard office,
secure to any vacant Yard mooring which is convenient, if you have previously
requested to be picked-up by our motor launch, we will keep a lookout for your
vessel, and our staff will come out to you as soon as possible after you have
attached to a mooring. If you have a mobile phone onboard it would helpful if
you call the Yard Office to confirm your arrival.

3.3 : Our staff will move the vessel from the mooring to the slipway for haulout.
